Proper cleaning and handling are an important part of keeping your Metro-K lenses comfortable, safe, and performing their best. Follow these steps every day to support healthy eyes and clear vision.
If recommended by your eye doctor, a preservative-free artificial tear may be placed in the lens before insertion.
Keep your Metro-K lenses and lens case away from tap water, bottled water, distilled water, shower or swimming-pool water, homemade saline, and saliva.
Only use products recommended by your eye care professional.
Your doctor may recommend a GP multipurpose solution such as Boston Simplus®, Unique pH®, or Tangible Clean®, or a hydrogen peroxide system such as CLEAR CARE®.
Important: Hydrogen peroxide solutions must fully neutralize in their special lens case before the lenses are placed on your eyes.
Replace your lens case approximately every 3 months, or as directed by your eye care professional.
Do not wear a lens that is damaged, uncomfortable, or causing unusual redness, pain, light sensitivity, discharge, or blurred vision. Remove the lens and contact your eye care professional.
Healthy lenses. Healthy eyes. Better Metro-K wear.
